Links with the Samburu Church in Kenya

Buxton Community Church has forged strong links over many years with the Samburu church in Northern Kenya, through the anglican Bishop of Maralal, Bishop Jacob Lesuuda and his wife Dorcas.

These links have involved several trips to Kenya by various members of BCC and a reciprocal trip by Jacob and Dorcas to Buxton. We keep up to date with each other through letters and texts so we can pray for the needs of our respective communities while also thanking God for His answers to our prayers.

We have learned so much from our Kenyan brothers and sisters about spiritual strength and wisdom and we hope we encourage and bless them in turn.
